Show off your artistic talents by decorating the windows of Clinton Main Street for everyone to enjoy!
Create your best Halloween-themed design and bring your imagination to life. This event is open to individual artists and teams of all ages. Grab your brushes, get creative, and help make Clinton Main Street spooky and spectacular this Halloween!
• Adult supervision is required during painting and cleanup days
• Window paint will be provided, but feel free to bring your own brushes
Note:
* Please bring a drawing of what you plan to paint with you to submit at the check-in table.
* Suggested Equipment to bring:
- Ladder / step stool to help with reaching higher areas.
- Newspapers for covering store fronts/brickwork/sidewalks/windowsills
- Painters tape (no duck tape), paper towels, garbage bags, cups for mixing paints and water in case mistakes are made that need to be corrected.
* Please leave at least a 2” border around your window by using painters tape.
* Prior to beginning painting, participants MUST cover non-glass areas (such as brickwork, wood moldings, sills, and sidewalks) with newspapers and painters tape. Contestants may NOT paint on sidewalk, brickwork, or any areas other than their assigned window.
* Only use window paints supplied by Park & Rec to decorate your window.
* Your team can bring brushes and other utensils to help perfect your art piece.
* Participant names should not be painted on the windows.
* Check in table will be located between Liberty Bank and The Post Office to pick up paints.
